2nd Lady Her Excellency Mrs. Samira Bawumia invites The Children’s President Funny Face, to have fun with the kids on world book day.

Today marks World Book day. Ghana’s Second Lady Her Excellency Mrs. Samira Bawumia, together with the Children’s President Funny Face visited few schools here in Accra to mark the day. Mrs. Bawumia took to her Facebook page with pictures of the tour and a motivational quote of Dr. Seuss in a few words of advice
“”The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” – Dr Seuss
Reading creates dreamers and thinkers, critical for the development of any nation. Today, on World Book Day, I urge all of us to pick up a book and immerse ourselves into the vast world of imagination. Let us become a nation of readers.
Happy World Book Day!
#WorldBookDay.”
The Children’s President Funny Face, who honoured the special invitation from the 2nd Lady also after a lot of entertainment advised his greatest fans; the children to “learn hard and not copy, for if they copy they will fail”. In a short video after the program, he expressed his overwhelming joy in a thanks to Her Excellency for the invite by saying “It is a good thing to support children, so when you get one honourable, Her Excellency the 2nd Lady of the land to support them and they call you, my brother whatever you are doing stop and come. That’s why when Mummy called me, I am here. Mummy we are proud of you, myself and my family, my neighbors, we are all proud of you. Anytime you call on me, I will come and support”. Her Excellency Mrs. Bawumia in response said “Thank you so much, we really appreciate and I think the kids are very happy meeting you as well and so are we. Keep on doing the good work you are doing.”
It is our duty as citizens to keep supporting the children for they do see, hear and copy from us at all times. God bless the Children’s President for his tremendous support given to the children of Ghana and across the world.
