In an exclusive interview with Dela Akafia on 12FramesTv, Madam Margaret Sarfo who worked as a fashion designer with Ghana Airways after her Tertiary Education and later started her own business sewing in bulk for market women and companies for retail lamented about how ruling governments neglect the previous projects started by the former government that was in power and choose to do their own thing.
Having also served as General Secretary of the Ghana armed forces wives association for a few years, she said in a statement “Governments go and governments come, why can’t we continue the projects of the previous government, because it isn’t their monies taken from their own pockets. Like President Kuffuor thought it wise to build affordable houses, another government takes over; it is left in the bush to rot.”
Making reference from Ghana’s history, she mentioned in a statement that the Policies and Programs Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah initiated are up till now viable but management and leadership is what is we are lacking to implement them.
She also spoke on how they destroyed the infrastructures Dr. Nkrumah built for the nation when he was overthrown. “Some of these were factories that people were working happily in”, she added.
Hon. Margaret concluded that well-performing people in their field of work will stay on in their jobs when the Liberal Party of Ghana (L.P.G) is voted into power come December.
