Dr. David Yonggi Cho was born on February 14, 1936, in South Kyŏngsang province, Korea. He was a Korean religious leader and Christian evangelist who founded the Yoido Full Gospel Church (YFGC) in Seoul in 1958. He presided over the megachurch until 2008. Dr. Cho was raised a Buddhist. When he was 17 years of age, he became gravely ill from tuberculosis. He subsequently recovered, and, attributing his healing to the God of Christianity, he became a Christian. Banks holdings in domestic debt biggest at GH¢38.1bn – Report

Banks holding in Ghana’s domestic debt grew significantly by a little above GH¢7 billion to GH¢38.1 billion in the third quarter of last year, representing 28.2%, data from the Bank of Ghana has revealed. This is compared to GH¢30.1 billion, about 29.8 % of their holdings recorded in a similar period of 2019. The rising appetite for government bonds and Treasury bills by the banks is due to the increasing share of its domestic debt component.
